I. WHAT THIS IS (AND WHAT THIS IS NOT)
VSES is a creative space—but it is a professional production house first and foremost. We operate as a training ground for people who want to take voice acting, streaming, singing, and creative production seriously. That means real expectations, real deadlines, real collaboration, and, at times, real clients and paid productions.
- This is not a casual YouTube collab hub.
- This is not a drop-in, drop-out playground.
- This is not a place to half-commit and hide behind “I was just here for fun.”
The entertainment industry is not gentle. Being a VTuber, streamer, singer, or voice actor is harder than it looks. VSES exists to prepare members for that reality—not shield them from it. Deadlines exist for a reason. Structure exists for a reason. Leadership exists for a reason. If you remain here, you acknowledge that this is a professional environment with standards.
II. RESPECT AUTHORITY AND CONDUCT
Respect begets respect. Treat others how you expect to be treated—this includes members, leadership, directors, collaborators, and staff. Authority within VSES is not decorative. Roles exist because they are necessary for projects to function.
- Do not posture
- Do not act entitled
- Do not behave as if you “run things” without having earned the responsibility.
Confidence is welcome. Ego without contribution is not. Respect people’s time. Collaboration is the backbone of this syndicate. Wasting time, ignoring communication, or failing to show up prepared impacts everyone—not just you. We treat members like adults until behavior proves otherwise.
III. CONFIDENTIALITY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION
VSES does not collect personal information unnecessarily. We do not ask for government names, addresses, birthdays, or legal details unless:
- You voluntarily provide them, or
- They are strictly required for a paid production involving an external client
- If personal information is required:
- It is requested by the client, not VSES
- It is shared directly with the client, not through VSES
- It is used solely for that production
Do not leak internal discussions, project details, or private matters. Confidentiality is not paranoia. It is professionalism.
IV. CONSEQUENCES AND INVESTIGATIONS
Issues are handled with investigation first—not knee-jerk reactions. Most concerns follow escalation:
- Warning or correction
- Second warning if behavior continues
- Further action if behavior worsens or disrupts operations
However, some actions skip warnings entirely. Immediate removal or bans may occur if, after investigation, a member is found to have: Violated trust or confidentiality, engaged in harassment or targeted harm, put members, clients, or VSES at risk, or lied or withheld critical information.
Context matters. Patterns matter more. VSES is flexible—but not permissive.
V. THE GOD MODE CLAUSE
Every project needs direction.
Yes, even recorded ones. Yes, even if you’re talented. Yes, even if you feel special. If you believe you do not need rehearsals, feedback, or communication with a director, you may invoke God Mode.
God Mode grants one single shot. Deliver your work clean, on time, and aligned—and if it’s flawless? Congratulations. You keep your role. You skip rehearsals. You won’t hear from us.
HOWEVER, if you miss the mark—at all—God Mode is revoked immediately. No retries. No debates. No backsies. God Mode is not a personality. It is a performance-based privilege.
VI. PAID PRODUCTIONS AND ELIGIBILITY
Membership in VSES does not entitle you to paid work. Paid opportunities are earned through:
- Consistent participation
- Reliability
- Professional conduct
- Active contribution
Auditions for paid projects are extended only to eligible, active members. If you are inactive or unreliable, you will not be considered—and you do not have grounds to complain. Paid work is a responsibility, not a reward.
VII. UNITS AND NON-EXCLUSIVITY
VSES operates through multiple units:
- Pre-Cancelled — streaming and content creation
- Umbra Incursus — artists, writers, mixers, creative production division
- Vox Thespian Mavericks — voice acting and dubbing performance
- Cor Resonare — singing and music division
Members may belong to multiple units, provided they can meet commitments.
VSES is not exclusive. You may belong to other groups and maintain outside projects. If another organization has an issue with your involvement here, that is their problem—not ours. Freedom is respected. Accountability remains.
VIII. RECORDED VS LIVE EXPECTATIONS
A. Recorded Projects: Deadlines matter. Recorded does not mean “whenever.” Communicate early. Deliver on time. Respect everyone involved.
B. Live Projects: Live work requires rehearsal attendance and schedule commitment. Do not ghost. Do not disappear. Give advance notice if issues arise. Emergencies happen. Silence is not acceptable.
Shared rule: Respect time. Communicate. Commit honestly.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS & RECORDING CONDITIONS
To participate in VSES productions, members must have a functioning microphone properly connected to their PC or recording setup. For recorded work, members are expected to record in a reasonably quiet environment. VSES understands that not everyone can invest in equipment immediately; however, audio must be usable.
Excessive background noise, constant interruptions, or preventable technical issues that significantly affect recording quality may result in recasting, reassignment, or removal from a project.
IX. INITIATIVE AND CREDITS
Members are welcome to: Direct, Write, Assist with production or staffing, or anything they would like to do to contribute with any project/s in VSES. Initiative is encouraged and noticed. All contributions are credited under your chosen name or alias. If you put in the work, your name goes on it.
X. COMMUNITY, GROWTH, AND INVITATIONS
Members are encouraged to invite their fans, followers, and supporters into VSES community spaces to foster engagement, activity, and growth. However, discernment is expected. Do not invite: Trolls, drama magnets, boundary-pushers, or anyone you would not personally vouch for. If you bring in weirdos, that becomes a leadership problem—and then it becomes your problem. Quality over quantity. Always.
XI. MEMBER INFORMATION UPDATES
Members are expected to keep their VSES Member Information reasonably up to date. This information is used to: Assign roles and opportunities, track eligibility and participation, and maintain accurate credits and website profiles. Outdated information may result in missed opportunities. If you want to be considered, you need to be findable.
